Astronomical clock that has been showing time since 14010. At every turn of the hour, there comes a cock and few other little people from the top of the clock - the cock makes a screeching noise, little people take turns to say hello and that's it... that's the grant performance. But the clock is a beauty, real beauty.

Nights are romantic. Take a walk by river Vltava. Hold hands. Soak in the city.

Budapest tales

Beautiful view of Prague from the Buda Castle.... construction from Habsburg era still stands tall.

Judapest: Three Jewish communities; three separate Synagogues....Here is the big one. Theodor Herzl: the visionary behind Israel was born not too far from here.

A priest who saved Jewish babies. He put them under foster-care in Catholic families. Had he not done that just in time, these thousands of babies would have been on a train to Auschwitz as well - just like their parents. Look carefully and you will see a baby hidden under his coat in the sculpture.

Iron shoes by river Danube: to remember the Jews shot and thrown into frozen river by the Hungarian fascists… Roses: to remember that response to pain is love.

What can you do with a ruined building? Turn it into a bar! Lots of excellent Ruin Bars in Budapest.

Beautiful Budapest seems even more beautiful when you enjoy this rose-shaped ice-cream at Gelato Rosa. :)
